Bali Bound!

I did it! I figured it out. I spent about a week after finding these pictures of this little piece of heaven booking every detail for my trip that was half way across the world. I also spent that entire time trying to convince my parents, my manger, my agent, and my boyfriend not to send an armed guard with me on my escape as well! That was a rough one…. but I eventually won πŸ˜‰ So I had booked my escape and I was booked to leave in about a week.

Now, when I decided to go on this trip, I decided to go all out. Because I had never done anything like this before, and I needed time to myself, and I needed a true break from it all, going all out is exactly what I did. I not only booked myself to travel halfway across the world by myself but I booked a 3 week long trip! I booked myself first class, upgraded to my own little villa once I got there, and made sure I treated this trip like it was my last.

I’m not going to lie when I say this chaotic world of entertainment takes a toll on you. It’s a true dog eat dog world with people constantly trying to tear you down, rip you apart, tell you that you’re not good enough, and compete for your spot. It’s exhausting! So when I said I needed an escape. I meant it. I needed to be away from technology, emails, Β social media, magazine articles, and work. I needed to get away from everyone and everything that was telling me and guiding me to be what they wanted and remind myself and rediscover what it truly was that I, MYSELF, WANTED. As cliche as it sounds, I needed to find myself and screw my head back on.

So after printing out packing checklists, running to the doctor to get all my required vaccinations, and loading up on comfy, ugly, I-don’t-care-what-I-look-like clothes, I was ready to go.Β

1 scoop of Labrada chocolate protein powder
1 tsp cocoa powder
